Your Full-Day Volcano & Countryside Itinerary

✅ Batuan Village: Temple, Traditional House & Local School
Your journey begins at Batuan Village, renowned for its arts and centuries‑old Hindu temples. You will step inside a traditional Balinese house compound to see how local families live, work, and worship. Next, we visit Pura Desa & Pura Puseh Batuan, one of the most beautiful temple courtyards in Bali, where intricate stone carvings tell stories of gods and legends. If you wish, we can also stop by the village primary school to meet the children and see daily school life firsthand.

✅ Tegalalang Rice Terrace at Ceking Village
A short drive up into the hills brings us to the views of Tegalalang. These cascading rice terraces, shaped like green staircases, are among the most photographed landscapes in Bali. You will have time to walk along the terraces, chat with farmers, and capture spectacular photos. It is a small, but unforgettable, take on the famous rice-field scenery of the island.

✅ Kintamani & Mt. Batur Volcano Lunch
The highlight of the day is the Kintamani highland, where we arrive just in time for lunch. Sit down to an Indonesian meal at a restaurant perched on the caldera rim, with a panoramic view of the active Mt. Batur volcano and the glistening Lake Batur directly in front of you. On a clear day the vista is nothing short of majestic.

✅ Sri Batu Plantation: Coffee, Spices & Chocolate
After lunch we descend to the Sri Batu local plantation village. Here you will walk among clove, vanilla, cocoa, and coffee plants, learn about which herbs are integral to Balinese life, and see how traditional Luwak coffee is made. You will also get to taste a selection of local teas, coffees, and tropical fruits—including the famously smooth (and expensive) Coffee Luwak.

✅ Holy Spring Temple
On the return journey we stop at the serene Holy Spring Temple (also called Sebatu Holy Spring). Tucked at the bottom of a small valley, this hidden temple is cherished by Balinese Hindus who come to perform purification ceremonies during the full moon and new moon. Watching the crystal‑clear water fill the ancient bathing pools is a peaceful and humbling experience.

✅ Final Stop – Local Rural Village
Before arriving back at your hotel, we will drive through a quiet rural village where you can observe everyday Balinese life: farmers tending their fields, women preparing offerings, and children playing. An optional short stop can be arranged if you would like to walk around and chat with the locals.
